That little Girl

It was that little girl,
who lived a long time ago
Who wanted nothing more,
than life itself.

She wanted the world in her hands,
but only got hurt in the trying
from that day on, pain, was a new meaning

She cut herself, so deep,
deep enough to scar.
It hurt enough,
she screamed.

No one could hear her,
but they wouldn't even care.
For she was that little girl,
who just sat, over there.

Every day, all the same thing,
nothing new,
just old hurt, and pain.

She cut herself, deeper and deeper
each and every time...

Till finally one day, she decided,
it was time...

The little girl, who was known for being quiet
sitting still,
and not breathing a breath.

Was now known as the little girl,
who only wanted,
death.
